we are experiencing an unexpected behavior with the DAC3171.
We have a board that hosts 4 independent DACs, all driven by an FPGA.
The DACCLK is provided freeruninng by an LMK04821.
The initialization sequence we follow is the following:

Power up the device
-
Apply DACCLK in free-running mode

Configure the registers
-
Reset the alarms (by writing
CONFIG5 = 0x0000) -
Read back the alarm bits
In some cases, one or more of the 4 DACs report the DacClk gone alarm. This event occurs rarely and only on some boards.
We would like to understand:
-
which conditions may generate this alarm even though DACCLK is continuously provided,
-
what checks or measurements you would recommend in order to further investigate the issue.
