ADS131M08: External Current source design recommendations

We are planning to use an ADC for RTD PT1000 measurements with external current source.

Please suggest ways to design a precision current source.

Hi Sahil Nayak,

I would suggest you to post your question about external current source to TI Amplifier E2E forum because you will have to use an amplifier for that.

You can still post your questions about ADC here because this is a forum for data converter.

Noted, thank you for your quick response.

Could you please suggest an ADC without an internal IDAC that has REFP and REFN pins to connect a reference resistor for RTD measurements?

Hi Sahil Nayak,

For simultaneously-sampling ADC you want, ADS131M08 can accept an external voltage reference. ADS131E08 is another option with VREFP/VREFN.
