I would like to adopt the EVM Firmware on the EVM Module to write some own measurement scripts. is it possible to get the complete source code for the EVM so i don't have to start from zero?

We don't provide the EVM source code

We do have ADS1235 example code that is generic enough to be integrated into any controller: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/ADS1235-C-EXAMPLE-CODE

These are basically the functions and drivers that you would need to extract from the GUI source code anyway, so this should give you a good head start on development

Hy Bryan,

thank you for your answer. The point is, i made a FW put that on the EVM but now the DFU mode does not start anymore and also my FW does not start correctly. Therefore i was asking for the EVM Code to figure out, what USB Multiplex etc. config you use in the standart EVM FW may i just missed something in the EVM Documentation how you use USB and digital ports. Can you confirm, that the BSL switch should leed to enter the BOOT area with USB as DFU Port? And what could prevent that from happening? I did not overwright the BOOTCFG area as far as i am Aware.

Here is some info about entering DFU mode and reinstalling the FW package for the EVM, in case you need to get back to a known good starting point: https://e2e.ti.com/support/data-converters-group/data-converters/f/data-converters-forum/1159286/ads114s08evm-deactivate-dfu-update-firmware

The intent of the EVM isn't really to write your own FW using the onboard TIVA. We included the unpopulated header row on the digital communication so you can flywire in your own controller. However, if you want to continue to use the TIVA please post a question in the microcontrollers forum for assistance
