Hi All,
I am interfacing ADS7825 in serial Interface mode. But I cant read the Data. I have a doubt the SYNOUT is mandatory ? Can any one tried this sucessfully any sample code to read the data.
Thanks in advance

Hi Radha,
Welcome the E2E Precision Data Converters forum.
We don’t have sample code, but we can recommend some procedures to read data.
But first, could you tell us more about how the ADS7825 is setup? For example:
Are op-amps driving the inputs?
Are 2.2uF capacitors connected to pins 7 and 6?
What multiplexer mode is used? Manual or continuous conversion
Are you using the ADS7825 as master (internal data clock) or as slave (external data clock)?
If it is used as a slave (external data clock), what is the clock frequency?
What microcontroller is reading the data?
What peripheral of the microcontroller is connected to the converter?
Thank you,
Rafael
Dear Sir,
Thank U.
1. Yes I am using OP-AMP driving inputs.
2. Yes I am connecting 1MFD in pin 6 and 7. OP 2.5v is checked.
3.Manual mode is selected.
4.I am trying with External CLK.
5.Clock frequency is 1 MHZ.
6.DISPIC6012A controller
7.Digital IO only used by polling method.
Note: Forum people say its difficult to interface in serial mode is it?
Thank U,
Radha
