HSDC Pro GUI fails to download TSW14J56 firmware for ADS54J54EVM

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS54J54EVM

I am trying to digitize a signal using the ADS54J54EVM ADC evaluation module with the TSW14J56 (Rev. D) high speed capture card and HSDC Pro GUI (4.10) software. I have followed instructions in documents SLAU616, SLWU086B and SLWU087C to the letter, but cannot get the kit to work.

Each time I select the device and attempt to program the FPGA, I immediately get error message "No firmware. Please select a device to load firmware into the board." The same message appears if I try to download TSW14J56REVD_FIRMWARE.rbf or any similar file from the HSDC pull-down menu.

Some LEDs on the capture card are lit after the action, including MEM INIT DONE, MEM SUCCESS, and MEM FAIL, but it's not apparent what's happening to the FPGA. The HSDC status log is equally ambiguous after an attempted download.

Download Firmware
Download firmware-menu
Get Firmware Details
IID of the Device
Reset Trigger
Trigger button display
Initialize ADC
Export Firmware Download
Waiting for user input

I can't find any references explaining the error message, nor information how to remedy it. I don't have LabVIEW installed on my PC, so cannot tunnel into the LabVIEW VIs used to create the application. Has anyone else been stymied like this?
