Hi,

I am trying to use the PDK to record data in MATLAB. I can do this by adding a micrcontroller that can controlled by MATLAB and use the micrcontroller to communicate with MATLAB but this will require some additional development time. Has anyone figured out a way to communicate directly with the PDK through the USB with MATLAB to avoid this extra overhead?

Hi Daniel,

Welcome to the TI E2E Forums!

The ADS1262EVM uses a USB Styx protocol for communication between the PC and MMB0. I don't know how you would go about interfacing this with MATLAB, but there is a related thread here: e2e.ti.com/.../63484, where someone had some success implementing a interface in MATLAB.

Hi Chris,

Do you know if there is any documentation on the USB Styx protocol. I can't seem to find any and the link to the documentation on the other thread seems to be down.

Hi Daniel,

I think "USBStyx" is also called "libusb-win32".

You might also consider collecting data in ADCPro and saving it to a file or multiple files using the "data recorder". Then you could import the data into MATLAB. This method won't give you "contiguous" data points, but it will give you data over a longer period of time.
