Hello,
My customer has a question about DAC3152.
[Q]
I have a question about DVDD18 of DAC 3152.
In the circuit diagram of the EVM,
+ 1.8 VD is supplied to DVDD18 of 15 pins and 33 pins,
+1.8 VDAC is supplied to the DVDD18 of 41 pin.
Should I separate the power supply according to the EVM circuit diagram?
Also, is there a different meaning for the 41 pin DVDD18?
Best Regards,
Kaede Kudo
Kaede,
You can use the same supply for pins 15, 33 and 41. This also should be tied to pin 36 (VFUSE). There is not a different meaning for pin 41. If you are using a common regulator for all of the +1.8V inputs, I would isolate the two groups (pins 15, 33, 36, 41) and (pin 44) with ferrite beads as shown in the EVM schematic. Even though the EVM schematic used 3 ferrite beads, I think you can combine the +18VD with +1.8VDAC and get by using only two beads.
Regards,
Jim
