Not Getting Data From ADS1230

I had a problem with ADC1230.I am not getting data from ADS1230 when i send clock of frequency 23Khz. Please help me

    Hi Kiran,

    I can't think of any reason why 23Khz would be an issue for SCLK.  Do you get data out of the part with higher frequencies?  Can you share the ADS1230 portion of your schematic with us and possibly send a screen capture of your clock along with DRDY/DOUT?

    Hi,

    I found another problem in my design.i am taking reference voltage from MSP430F2274. When i connect  VREF(MSP430F2274) to the ADS1230 it is dropping  from  2.5 to 1.7V.

    I have attached my schematics.Please comment on my design.

    Kiran,

    There are a couple of concerns.  The MSP430 analog section is tied to the digital power and ground.  Somewhere you need to tie the grounds together for both the analog and digital of the ADS1230, and to make sure that the ground reference for the analog section of the MSP430 is the same as the ADS1230 analog ground.

    You also have a pull down resistor (R17) on the VREF- that will conflict with the VREF input of the ADS1230 and will be a source of problem, especially without the grounds tied together.

    So, tie the analog and digital grounds together near the ADS1230, and remove R17 and see what happens.
