TSW14J56EVM: High Speed Data Converter Pro 4.8 Crash - error Error: 0x89B93EFO: image.cpp

Part Number: TSW14J56EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS54J54EVM

Hello,

I'm using a TSW14J56revD connected to a ADS54J54EVM in combination with the SW High Speed Data Converter Pro 4.8 .
The SW HSDCP 4.8 issues very often an error when I change the scaling of the graph.
Error: 0x89B93EFO: image.cpp Line 14441 LabView Verison 14.0f2.
The errors leads to crash of the HSDCP 4.8 SW.
Do you have a fix for that issue?

Thanks,
Michael

  • Michael,

I will pass this on to the software development team. Which axis are you changing when this error occurs, X or Y? What version of Windows are you running?

    Regards,

    Jim

  • Jim,

    both axis . Windows 10 64bit.

    Regads,
    Michael
  • Labview error.docxMichael,

Can you answer these questions in the attached file? Also there is a possible work around described in here that you may want to try.

    Regards,

    Jim

  • Michael,
Is this still an issue you would like us to look into?
    Regards,
    Jim
  • Jim,

as described in the word document  I updated the LabVIEW Run time engine version. I will use the tool in the next days and I will check if the error is fixed.

    To the other questions:

When exactly is the error seen? Is it when scaling the graph using the Graph palette? YES

    a.       If yes, can we get to know the sequence of operations (Capture, Firmware download etc.,) after which they are seeing the issue?

     Sequence based on your manual

Is HSDC Pro in Idle state(Status bar shows “Waiting for user input”) or is it performing some operation when this scaling is done?

HSDC Pro is in Idle state.

Can we get a snapshot of System details (RAM and Processor information from Control Panel -> System and Security -> System).

No possible to share those information in a forum. Please open a separate ticket for that.

    Regards,

    Michael

  • Michael,

Was your issue resolved after you updated the LabVIEW Run Time Engine? If not, what EVM were you using with the TSW14J56? Where you following the HSDC Pro User's Guide? If so, what version?

    Regards,

    Jim
