WEBENCH® Tools/AFE4300: ECG measurement

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I use reference schematic of AFE4300, and try to achieve ECG from weight-scale (WS) signal chain of the AFE4300. when I connect INM1 and INP1 to simulator it is ok and signal is very good. but when I connect to body, I get noisy signal.

can you help me about this?

Hi Abdolkarim,

Can you confirm that you are not picking the noise form the AC mains?
If indeed you are picking the AC mains, try running the setup from battery powered source.

Thanks for your reply.

I test my circuit with battery powered source. The result is same as before.

As I said before this, my circuit work with simulator and I have good signals. when I connected it to body it seems that it couldn't capture ECG from body.

I connect Electrode with chest lead to body.

Hi Abdolkarim,

Did you try filtering the raw data with LPF?
Please try with 20Hz LPF and then adjust the corner to see the effect.
We have see the ECG signal buried under the noise. Also you may not see the this noise when using the simulator.
