Using the Sensing Solutions EVM GUI I upgraded the firmeware of our LDC2114EVM to the following found on my system:

FDC2x14_LDC13xxRevB_LDC16xxRevB_EVM_Firmware.txt

Now the GUI always says "Not Connected" when the LDC2114EVM is plugged in to the USB. 

Next I put the EVM in bootstrap mode and ran MSP430 USB Firmware Upgrade Example 1.3.1.1, and this successfully loaded the RevB firmware noted above. However, I still cannot get the Sensing Solutions EVM GUI to see the EVM when plugged in. 

Please help!

    Hi Rickson,

    Your LDC2114EVM is not working because the firmware you uploaded is specific to other inductive/capacitive sensing devices. We have a capacitive sensing device called the FDC2114 (unrelated to the LDC2114), so this is probably what confused you about the firmware included with the GUI. Unfortunately firmware for the LDC2114 is not currently included with the GUI, so you will need to send me a private message so that I can provide you with the proper .txt file for the LDC2114. Once you have this you should be able to upload it to the EVM and communicate with the GUI.
