ADS8860: how to measure ADC's precision on real application?

Hi,

I requested for a EVM, and there is special toolkit for lab test.

But, in real applications and there is not a EVM, how should I test the ADC's precision, like ENOB?

Hello,

You will need to use your own system to analyze the performance of the device within the design. There is good reading and educational material avaiable about ADCs and their dynamic erformance. one app note is: Dynamic Test for A/D Converter Performance.

Also, TI: Precision Labs - ADCs has very good overall material on SAR ADC's that I am sure will provehelpful.
