We have the eval kit for the ADS1198, and we have been unable to install it successfully on multiple PCs.
We've tried two Win10 machines and a Win7 machine (64 bit OSes), all with varying degrees of failure. The first hurdle was disabling driver signature checks on Win10, then telling the machine to install the unsigned drivers. But even with the driver detecting the board as a MMB0 (NI-VISA) device, the application fails to load. This happens on both the Win10 and Win7 machine. One of them specifically complains about LibUSB0.dll not being available, even though it is in both the ADS1198 eval kit folder and in Windows/system32 from installation.
I saw others suggest downloading a MMB0 x64 driver from the FTP (ftp://ftp.ti.com/pub/data_acquisition/ADCPro2/misc/drivers/), but every time we try to access the FTP site, we get asked for a user name and password that we apparently don't have.
This is all getting very frustrating, and it definitely worked before when we used it on a Win7 machine a couple of years back on a previous project. Can I at least get access to the FTP so I can finish attempting the troubleshooting steps? Any other troubleshooting insight would also be appreciated.
