What is the maximum no damage analog input power in dBm (50 ohm source) into the ADS5474EVM for a 500 MHz 400 ns pulse? I need to select a limiter to reduce a radar transmit pulse bleed through into the ADS5474EVM while still obtaining near full scale input power on low level radar reflected signals.

Hi Neeraj,

My IF transmit pulse is a 400 ns RF burst at 490MHz. This burst occurs each 10us so the average power is 14 dB lower than the peak power. I can purchase a 50 ohm RF limiter that will limit this peak pulse power to about +12 dBm. Will this be adequate to protect the EVM from damage using the J11 analog input? Thanks.
