Hi Ramesh,
Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum!
Your pictures didn't come through, do you mind re-posting them?
What operating system is your computer using?
Hi Alexander,
I thank you very much for your reply. I am using Windows 10. I am not able to send the image files in the forum as attachments. May I know how can I attach the snapshot.
Thanks

Hi Bob,
I thank you very much for your reply. I attached the log files here as the reference. I will try closing other applications and try it again. One more information I would like to add. I have bought this evaluation board as new which is not working in Data Analysis tool. I already used one more same evaluation board earlier so the log files have that information also. The older evaluation board ( same product ) works fine and I could take data successfully. This is new evaluation board which is causing this problem. I tried to uninstall and install the software as well.
I am using Malwarebytes and Avast antivirus software in my PC. Kindly let me know if this could cause the issue.
Thanks
Ramesh B
Hi Ramesh,
It is not a driver issue, but rather two pieces of software attempting to communicate with each other. It is difficult to say what is going on as the log files are just showing what we already know in that the Data Analysis client can't communicate to the main GUI application. This would be similar to pinging a server using an IP address and getting no response back.
As I have not seen this issue before it is difficult to know where to start looking. The only time I have seen something similar is if I start the GUI before plugging in the EVM to USB and then attempt to run the Data Analysis. I would suggest always plugging in the EVM before starting the GUI application. This seems to be important for Win10.
There could be some other piece of software installed that is blocking access to the socket by assigning or blocking a port for another purpose. If you open a cmd window and type in 'netstat' you will get a listing of all connections in use. The GUI uses port 11000, so after the GUI is started you would see something in netstat similar to:
You should only see port 11000 when the GUI is started and not before. If you do, that could be the issue.
When the Data Analysis properly finds the desired port a connection will be made for the application to communicate with the GUI and the netstat output will be similar to:
The Data Analysis client needs to communicate to the main application at socket 11000 at the IP address shown.
Best regards,
Bob B
Hi Bob,
Thank you very much for your reply. I tried by plugging the EVM before starting the GUI but not resolved this issue. I tried this multiple times.
I could not see anything with respect to 11000 port when I type 'netstat' in command prompt. I will try in one more laptop and I will update you if the issue still exists in that laptop too.
Thanks

Hi,
The issue is with anti-virus. The anti-virus is blocking the installation as well as the linking between Data viewing tool and main tool. Once the anti-virus is disabled, I am able to get it work. I thank you very much for your help and support.
Thanks
