i am facing problem in generating (TSW14J56 with DAC38RF82 EVM)CF(centre freq)=3.8GHz and BW=400MHz o/p seeing some droop about 3-4dB..kindly help how to reduce droop???

and what should be the noise foor output???

Hi Ramkumar,

Enable the inverse sinc correction filter as shown below to compensate for some of the droop. Make sure to backoff the baseband data in HSDCPRO by about 3.1dB to avoid saturation:

Refer to DAC38RF82 datasheet, pg 15 for NSD values under different conditions.

i have tried the above step .. but did not work. What should be the LFM pattern max and min value.?

share the file pattern tsw file format or CSV for DAC configuration LMF=841 for generating LFM=400MHz

- Max value: +32767

- Min Value: -32767

- Data should be formatted into 4 columns as follows:

DACA-I data, DACA-Q data, DACB-I data, DACB-Q data

- The number of rows should be a multiple of 512

- You can view an example csv file in <hsdcpro install directory>\Test Files\single_tone_cmplx_32768_250MSPS__BW_25.1MHZ.csv
