ADS1293: ADS1293EVM

Part Number: ADS1293

I am using an ADS1293EVM board with a 5 lead cable in order to take the ECG reading from patients in a research project.

However, when connected, the only thing I see in the 3 channels plotted by the software are noise. No, heartbeat peaks are detected.

I do not know if this a hardware issue relating to 60Hz or other sources of noise, or this is a software issue that I am not aware of.

Can anyone suggest a method for reducing the level of noise so that I can get some actual readings?

Thank you

  • Hi Arash,

With the information provided, there is not much I can offer in terms of support. If you can provide additional information it may help.

I recommend reading up on RLD and cancelling common-mode noise from this link:

Are you able to read clearly from a known signal source i.e. 1Hz 1Vpp sine wave?
