IC circuits measuring ECG are different

    Hi Danny,

    There is no "one-size-fits-all" signal chain design for ECG applications.

    The AFE4900 schematic you posted above contains similar signal chain elements as what we proposed for the ADS1292R. For two electrode systems without a dedicated RLD electrode, the input signals can be biased through R10 and R14 and installing J3 to connect the RLD amplifier output. The AFE4900EVM also shows provisions for AC-coupling or DC-coupling the inputs with pads for additional series protection/current-limiting resistors.
