ADS54J60EVM: Auto configuration

Part Number: ADS54J60EVM

Hi, 

We have bought the ADS54J60EVM with TSW14J56EVM boards.

We have followed all the steps in the manual to connect the board to the PC and run the two software provided by TI (ADS54JXX and HSDC pro 5.0), all additional steps and everything is currently working fine.

Now we wish to automate the process,  instead of each time opening ADS54JXX  SW and loading the configuration again, we wish to it automatically in a piece of code or script.

What is the best way to accomplish auto-config automation with these two boards?

    Yaron,

    See the attached file for locations of automation examples and files that can be used with the TSW14J56EVM. Regarding the ADS54J60EVM, TI has never made any automation software to run this board. You would have to generate your own software that can be used with the current USB interface or remove U7 and add wires to the exposed pads and connect these to an external SPI interface.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    I did find the examples you have sent, before sending you this question.

    I understood that I can Automate the TSW14J56EVM board with it.  But connecting to the TSW14J56EVM and load the initial configuration is not possible.

    So to work with your boards, I will still have open the UI (ADS54Jxx) of the ADS54J60EVM, Load manually the configurations. This what I am hoping to avoid.

    Is there any way around this?

    The only way around it is doing the device removal and adding an external SPI interface like I mentioned in the previous post..
