Hi,

It looks like this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/data-converters/f/73/t/903704

was marked as "resolved" before my follow-up questions were answered. Please check my setup of the ADS1261EVM and identify if there is an issue with my setup. Again, I'm trying to use the sensor-excitation current sources (IDAC1 and IDAC2) to probe analog input pins rather than the burnout current source.

Hi Adrian,

Is the resistor you are using connected to ground? Or is it just floating across the inputs? The IDAC current needs a path to ground to operate properly.

Also, the IDACs use the internal reference to operate, which is why the internal VREF needs to be enabled FYI.
