DAC088S085: Min transaction length for n x DAC

So...does anyone know if we Daisy Chain n DACs --> must each transaction be n x 2 bytes to ensure correct workings?

Hi Kevin,

Yes, the device will only latch the final 16 bits that were one the bus when SYNC is pulled high.

Are you considering using the daisy chain mode with other devices than the DAC088S085?

Thank you for your help. I understand now ---> that is why when I pull the SYNC high with 2 DACs in the chain with only 16-clocks --> the 2nd DAC Channel A goes to zero

No, I am ONLY chaining 2 x DAC088S085
