Hi,
I am designing a data acquisition chain around ADS8867IDGS, but before moving to next project phases I need to know whether or not the component will be in production for at least a decade from now and/or there will be pin2pin compatible replacements in case it is removed from catalogue, being its features, and especially the daisy-chainable interface, quite unique within TI portfolio.
Regards
Hello Giovanni,
Nice to meet you. The ADS8867IDGS follows the standard TI Product Life Cycle process as all components will. In addition, we can confirm this device and the family it is in are very popular and as such, they will not meet the stringent requirements listed in the link below to have any concerns with product life in the long-foreseeable future.
