DDC118: DDC118 / DDC112 Range change or setup timing

Hello,

we are working on a design concept that probably includes either a ddc118 or ddc112. As we are coping with a high dynamic range of input current signals we want to know if it is possible to sample signals in a sequence using for example range 0 and range 5 alternating. If we do so, what is the required timing on the Range pins in relation to the conv and clk signal? Or are there any major problems that we might expect in doing so?

I could not find anything about this in the documentation.

It would be great if You could help us on this issue.

Thank you for your post.

Please refer to the following thread link below for some discussion on changing ranges in the DDC. The device design was not intended to be used in an alternating range configuration, so care must be taken to ensure all the data is valid. Moreover, we have not characterized the device performance in such configuration so we cannot guarantee all the datasheet specifications.
