AFE5812: Is it possible to interface a differential opamp as input?

Part Number: AFE5812

Dear TI experts:

AFE5812 is designed for ultrasonic applications, while my application is a 8-channel radar receiver. I want to interface 8 differential opamps to the inputs of AFE5812, but it seems that the INM pins are designed to connect  Cbypass to ground, only the INP pins are used.

Can I directly connect the input Vin+ to INP and Vin- to INM?

Thanks,

Jhon

  • Hi,

No AFE5812 supports only single ended input. You can see LNA section in the datasheet where INM pin is used to implement the HPF around LNA. You can consider to have opamp configuration as single ended output and then connect it to AFE5812.

    Thanks
