DDC112: SBAA024 application report clarification

Part Number: DDC112

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer have concerns on Application Bulletin AB-131, "UNDERSTANDING THE DDC112’s CONTINUOUS AND NON-CONTINUOUS MODES" (SBAA024).

(1) In Figure 5 on page 5, t4 is given as 4548.0us. He suspect that 4548.0 is the number of clock cycles rather than the number of microseconds. He think the number of microseconds should be 454.8?

(2)  Table VI shows minimum TINT for continuous mode to be 500us (assuming CLK = 10 MHz). Adding t13 and t14 to twice t12 totals 479.4us. So, Figure 12 would indicate a minimum TINT for continuous mode to be only 479.4us. Is the 500us minimum a rounded figure for 479.4us or is an additional 21.6us really needed to ensure a good continuous mode?

Thanks and regards,

Art
