Hi,
I am developing a wireless temperature sensor which requests the accuracy up to +/- 0.01 Celsius degree. I am planning to use ADS1247 or 1248 as the ADC, 4 wire PT100 will be used as the temperature sensor. Where can I get a reference design with above mentioned items to achieve this accuracy? thank you very much for any information provided.
Hi Rui Li,
Welcome to the forum! You can start with the ADS1247EVM-PDK or the ADS1248EVM-PDK as the basis of your system. These evaluation boards come with the hardware and software you need to get started with the exception of the four-wire sensor.
Hi Rui Lui,
In addition to checking the ADS1247EVM-PDK and/or ADS1248EVM-PDK, find additional information in setting up the ADS1248 and ADS1247 with a 4-wire RTD configuration in the application note "Example Applications For Temperature Measurement Using the ADS1247 and ADS1248". It includes some guidelines and examples measuring RTD's in three wire and four-wire configurations. Please find link below:
