DLP3010EVM-LC: About changing the external thermistor.

To update this B-constant you will need a new firmware image for the EVM. I will talk with the team about the best way to create this image and then post back.

Can you share the data sheet of the thermistor you are using? if the data sheet is not available I need the thermistor resistance and B-constant.

    (1) firmware (v7.3.2)

    (2) test-fixed firmware (v8.1.100) which is supplied by Mr. Philippe Dollo and Mr. Mayank Khandelwal.

DLP3010EVM-LC (including DLP3010 chip) needs firmware (v7.x.x).

on the other hand, DLP3010EVM-LC (including DLP3010LC chip) needs firmware (v8.x.x).

So I'm happy if you let me know how to change the thermistor's lookup table in any firmware.

For the time being, I will tell you the external thermister's information I use.

The Product number of the thermister is "104JT-025".

The following link is the datasheet of the thermistor I am using.

        --> The thermistor resistance is 100k, and B-constant of "104JT-025" is 4390K.

unfortunately you will not be able to update the LUT with the GUI. we will need to do it and then give it to you.

I will create you a firmware with updated LUT for v7.4.2 (for DLP3010) and for v8.1.1(for DLP3010LC)

I have a few questions about the firmware.

1) you mention DLPA3000, but the DLP3010EVM-LC uses the DLPA2005. has the PMIC been changed?

2)Does your firmware have any other changes different from stock EVM firmware?

I found an external thermistor whose B-constant and resistance are the same as EVM's thermistor's.

And I will use it so that I can use the public EVM firmware.
