I'd like to display custom static patterns via USB with DLPDLCR660TEVM + DLPLCRDC4422EVM.
The same question has been asked here a couple of times, and the answer is usually that it can not be done with the software released with the EVM.
However, surely the highly programmable DLPC4422 has some way to display custom patterns?
I have seen suggestions that this can be done with DLP Composer. Would that work? How can we get access to that software?
Otherwise, can we do it by custom reprogramming of the FPGA on the EVM? Is there any documentation from TI on custom FPGA functionality?
We plan to use the DLP660TE as part of an optical scanning instrument which needs to display a sequence of custom static images. We have no use for high refresh rates, so running our image sequence through 8-lane V-by-One would be extreme overdesign.
I'm working with a large R&D institute. They will surely sign NDAs if needed. How can we get the information we need?
