Hi Jia,
Have you tried using the LED Variation calculation tool? Click the color bars on the right.
Please note 100% blue duty cycle is not allowed here, but you can do something like I have shown above.

Hi Aaron
I have tried to change the RGB Duty Cycles referring to you suggestion
but it did not work
do you have any other suggestions
Need:
Only one UV Led will be used for the 3D printing Application
and the UV led will consume all DMD time
So UV led Duty Cycles is 100
Test: On the DLPC7540EVM
1. There are three Led EN signals
LED_EN_RED : to enable Red Led
LED_EN_GRN : to enable Green Led
LED_EN_BLU : to enable Blue Led
The three signals are output alternately when all leds are enable
not this three EN signals are On all time
This mechanism is same to LightControl4710 or Pico 4710EVM
This is Blue EN signal and I have changed Duty Cycles to R=G=15 B=70
We all know Pico 4710EVM uses PAD3005 to drive RGB LEDs alternately
RGB Leds share a drive circuit so can not be On at the same time
Then I changed RGB Duty Cycles to R=G=0 B=100 According to TI's suggestion
and
Use Blue EN signal to control/switch UV Led
So I want to transplant the same configures to DLPC7540 from Pico DLP4710
2 | B0100 | Bit Plane Allocation failed for R. There are no valid sequences in the database. Minimum bit-planes could not be determined. |
Build |
How can I delete the restriction of minimum duty cycles
How can I build the composer project when changed the before configures
PS: The RGB Duty Cycles can be changed in the all below three projects and the version of Composer is 13.xx not 15.xx

ECD DLPC4420 + DLP780TE
Thank you for any help

Hello Jia,
The team is checking out the chipset capabilities. The challenge is that you are using the Display chipset for a 3D printing industrial application, so the feature set and capabilities are intentionally different. We will need more time to assess the options for you.
Have you also looked at the DLPC900 + DLP500YX chipset?y
Regards,
Matt
Hi Matt
Thank you for you information
We have been developing DLPC900 x 2 + DLP670s /DLP500 products since early last year
Optically compatible with DLP660te
The product will be released in 2022Q3
It will better if the RGB Duty Cycles can be changed to 3D printing Application
I am waiting for your good news
Thank you
Best Regards
Jia
Hi Jia,
OK, thank you for the launch update. Good to see your industrial application doing well.
Again, we will see what is possible with the RGB performance.
Regards,
Matt
Hi Matt
Thank your for help
This demand directly determines the success or failure of the product
Please help TI to add this function
I am looking forward to your reply
Thank you
Best Regards
Jia
Hi Jia,
Now that you have the XPR working we can assess your current performance and make sure everything is robust and then plan the next steps.
Regards,
Matt
Hi Jia,
We are looking at what is possible with the existing DLPC7540 software and firmware. The sequences and timing settings are fixed now for the best pixel and image quality performance, and I do not see us making changes any time soon.
We should have an answer by tomorrow on how to get the most out of the operation. I would like to reply to you by email and close this thread. Please let me know if you are ok with that.
Thanks,
Matt
Hi Matt
Thank you very much for your help
It is OK for me and I agree with you to talk through email
You know this special RGB Duty Cycles are required for industrial application, for.example 3D Printing
I have to modify it, or else the optical contrast ratio will be decreased very much
Thank you very much
We are looking forward to your proposals
Best Regards
Jia
