Hi Team,

Our customer is looking for a detailed steps to remove a DMD from DLP3010EVM-LC. I found the E2E thread below regarding the LightCrafter4500 but do we also have one for DLP3010EVM-LC?

Hello Danilo,

Welcome back to the E2E forum!

We do not have such a process laid out for the DLP3010EVM-LC. Such a procedure can be complex and render the optical engine/DMD useless if not done correctly.

Can you speak on why the client would like to remove the DMD? I would like to highlight that the DMD can be purchased separately from the DLP3010-LC product page.

Hi Austin,

According to our customer,

The goal is to reflect the visible light into the DMD, but the DMD is covered by a heat sink and facing inwards. So we need to extract the DMD. I have attached the rough sketch of the experimental set-up along with this.
