Hello User,
This is a device part number that is included on the DMD. Is there an issue that you think is related to the part number?
Can we have more background on why you suspect this marking?
Regards,
John
There is no issue with this DMD, I'd just like to know that is its part number. There is no explanation on the datasheet how to decode the "4 character encoded device part number"
Hi Mike,
Could you please help us understand, why you want to decode the last 4 characters.

Akhil
I have tested this DMD with marking "142N" on the back side. I also have bunch of DLP2010FQJs that I have not tested yet and I need to verify if the DMD with marking "142N" are the same or compatible with DLP2010FQJs or not. I don't want to open the package to see what is behind DLP2010FQJs that I have because they are located in a different city.
Hi Mike,
While the DMDs will work granted that they are also DLP2010 DMDs, I am checking if there is any information that I can offer you regarding this number.
Regards,
Austin
Hello Mike,
The "142N" is a code meant to help us at TI identify the part number as there is not enough room to put the full part number. The "N" indicates that it is an NIR version.

Austin
Hi
I perfectly understand that the full part number doesn't fit onto the back side of the DMD. I'm trying to understand how to decode the marking on the DMD to the actual part number, as this information is not in the datasheet.
What I have understood from previous forum posts https://e2e.ti.com/support/dlp-products-group/dlp/f/dlp-products-forum/1081198/dlp2010-dlp2010afqj is that DMD marking:
"342B" corresponds to DLP2010LCFQJ
"242B" corresponds to DLP2010AFQJ
I would like to know which part number corresponds to "142N"
Maybe Vivek Thakur knows?
