DLPA2005: DLPA2005 DC LED Current Accuracy

In reviewing the DLPA2005 datasheet, I have noticed that the DC accuracy for the LED current is a fairly broad +/- 100mA

The source of this error is later called out as offset error in the current DAC:

This error is quite significant for our application, where LEDs are driven at currents as low as 500mA: in this case +/-100mA would represent +/-20% error.

My question, then, is whether this +/-100mA offset is expected to be relatively static per part and therefore reasonable to calibrate around, or if this offset is expected to vary on a given part in response to external influences such as temperature and therefore be more difficult to calibrate around. I could not find any additional information in the datasheet one way or the other. Is there any other data pertaining to this specification?

    The offset on the DC current accuracy is not consistent part to part. It would probably vary some due to temperature change. Unfortunately, we do not have any additional data related to this specification. You would need to do some experience on the part that you are using.
