Tool/software:
Hello,
I will need to create footprint of DLPC8445 (FCCSP(AMD) in our library.
I tried to download 3D data of this device on TI's website, but failed without any error indication.
Where can I download 3D data (.stp) of the package? I would like to precisely check position of solder balls as it hasn't been evenly positioned.
On top of that, I would like to grab pad size on the device package, in order to make the pad size on PCB same as the device's to make robust connection of solder.
Thank you for your support!
Hara
Hello Hara,
Have you tried downloading the FCCSP(ADM) from the DLPC8448 product page? I'm not sure if you are able to see the information from this download link because you mentioned "failed without any error indication". It's in .pdf format, and it contains the chip package and size. Does this satisfy what you need?
Please let me know if you have trouble to download this .pdf file or if you still need the .stp file.
Regards,
Lori
Hi Lori,
Sorry for the delay in replying. I have been in business trip and it is causing such delay.
I tried to find page of DLPC8448, but could not find it. Is it possible to give me direct link to DLPC8448?
Our CAD section needs confirm each ball position, so it would be better if I could have step data of the package.
Could you support?
Thank you for your continued support.

Hello Hara,
I'm sorry for the typo, it should be DLPC8445. Please try to use this link to see the FCCSP(ADM) file.
Meanwhile, I need to check with the team to see if we have .step file available.
Regards,
Lori
Hello Lori,
Sorry again for the delay in replying. I have been still in business trip.
Thank you for the information. I successfully downloaded the datasheet.
I checked with our CAD section if they can proceed only with the datasheet, but unfortunately they still need STP data of the package. Could you keep checking if such file is available?
In addition to the inquiry above, CAD section is requesting me to provide BGA pad size on BGA side (not solder ball diameter, not recommended pad size on PCB side).
Is it possible to check with your technical section?
Thank you for your continued support.
D.Hara
Hello D.Hara,
Thank you for the information! I'm checking with the team and will provide more information when I get back from the team.
