Image display

Hi TI team,

By using "DLP LightCrafter GUI "on windows, I can capture image by using LI-1M01CM (Sensor: MT9M112 which 1.3M). But the image turns out very strange with all the stripes there.

If you zoom in the image, you can even see the pixels are connected to a stripe.

And the image can not display properly on the GUI, like this.

Thanks

Martin

  • Hi Martin,

I'll take a look into this issue. Can you answer the following questions?

    1. Have you captured images with another camera module without these stripes appearing?
    2. How are you viewing the captured image?

    Thanks,

    Clinton

  • Hi Clinton,

    Thanks for swift reply.

    For Question 1:

Before I used LI-1M01CM camera module, I had used LI-VM01CM to capture image without stripes appearing.

    For Question 2:

Because the image viewer is all black on the GUI, I can only save the image on the desktop and view it by "Windows Photo Viewer". The image captured by the old camera can be displayed by the image viewer on the GUI, and to compare them, I will still save the image and view it by "Windows Photo Viewer".

The file attached above is the image captured by the new camera and the image captured by the old camera accordingly. If you view both the image on browser, they all look ok. But if you download it to see, the image captured by the new camera will display with stripes appearing.

    Thanks

    Martin

  • Hi Martin,

I wanted to  let you know I'm still looking into your issue. I should have some additional feedback early next week.

    Thanks,

    Clinton
