Generate 912 * 1140 resolution image transmission to DLPC350 model?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC350

best regards
I am currently doing a system: Create a 912 * 1140 resolution images using an external host processor (eg FPGA) through the parallel port (24bit RGB port) is transmitted to the DLP LightCrafter 4500, hardware connection is right. The purpose of the system is displayed on a one to one DMD pixel display (the native 912 × 1140 input resolution pattern has a one-to-one
association with the corresponding micromirror on the DMD), my question is:
1.DLPC350 should configure that mode (sequence mode or video mode)?Do not tell me I2C command
2. Timing employed configuration mode.
3.DLPC350 datasheet referred to synchronize the camera using trig 0, but my system must trigger model? I just transfer pictures only.
4. Variable Exposure mode can be applied to my system?

Please explain how my application should be configured DLPC350 and timing of a transmission, and look forward to your reply! !
regards

  • 1. Squence mode

    2. You mean Video timing information ?

This one is for 60Hz timing

    Pixel Clock            : 83.6 MHz

    Horizontal:

    Active Time     : 912 Pixels

    Blanking Time   : 280 Pixels

    Sync Offset     : 40 Pixels

    Sync Pulse Width: 64 Pixels

    Border          : 0 Pixels

    Frequency       : 70 kHz

    Vertical:

    Active Time     : 1140 Lines

    Blanking Time   : 30 Lines

    Sync Offset     : 10 Lines

    Sync Pulse Width: 6 Lines

    Border          : 0 Lines

Digital Separate, Horizontal Polarity (+), Vertical Polarity (+)

    3.  Yes, you must write video frames to RGB parallel port, vysnc is treated as trigger input signal, for the  camera, trigger_out_1 will be generated in DLPC350 side.

    4. Yes, you can apply variable exposure in Trigger Mode-0 also, refer how to set pattern exposure and timings,
