I got lightcrafter 1 month a go, and I have several questions about lightcrafter.

1. when I am trying to upload extended pattern sequence (288 frames), GUI was always crashed.

Do you know why this accident happens?

2. In the user guide of lightcrafter, there is a note "The patterns must be a BMP file with a resolution of 608 × 684."

but when I upload 608x684 BMP file, the image was stretched horizontally.

How can I fix it?

3. Is there any way to make light and shadow in binary color of lightcrafter?

I trying to make this image like

But my projection is just like this quality. It is stretched and also don't have smooth shadow.

Is there any way to make shadow with binary color?

I tried with halftone like this but also it is not good quality.

4. I consider replacing one led with white led because I am trying to achieve greyscale image, but how can I figure out which white led I have to buy?

#1. Is it 1-bit or 8-bit pattern? Can you provide the software versions (as you read from the GUI); are you able to use the extended pattern mode for fewer number of patterns?

#3. Shadow you mean gray scale effect? or is it pure black image?

1. my GUI software version is 5.0.0 for Mac os, I succeed to upload just under 96 pattern count and when I upload over 96 pattern count, it is crashed.

maybe I figured out how can I solve the question of 2, 3. Thanks

I also want to know about replacing led with white led to achieving greyscale image.

or is there any alternative way to get greyscale image?

Can you try extended pattern sequence mode the hardware?

For example: Set 8-bit 5 patterns. Any exposure; this would automatically select the extended pattern mode. Run the pattern sequence.

If I choose more than 96 frames count, is it cannot be fast as 1440frames per second?

> 96 you get minimum pattern exposure of 18ms.
