Hi,
I am working on a research project and looking for the right DLP projector for an Automotive HUD solution. There was a white paper https://www.ti.com/seclit/wp/dlpa057/dlpa057.pdf published sometime back by TI regarding it's DLP 3000-Q1 Automotive Qualified Chipset http://www.ti.com/lit/ml/dlpt024b/dlpt024b.pdf . I cannot find this product line anymore.
What would be a replacement product if I want to achieve the same functionality ?
Additionally, i have been reading more about the 2 different product lines from DLP : Advanced Light Control & Video and Data Display. Based on the product line, can someone help me with the questions below :
1) What is the difference between eval module and dev kit ? Which one would be the right fit for my application ?
2) Where can I buy the DLP-3000-Q1 chipset ? Is it still in production ? If not what are my options for a multicolor HUD DLP projector
3) I believe and quote me if I am wrong. The DLP can be connected to a CMOS or CCD camera. However, I am having trouble searching for info, if the DLP can take the input source directly from a camera as a live video and project the output after processing the video and with help of some GUI overlay graphics.
4) Can the process workflow be designed/mapped to additionally add Arduino to provide the GUI/graphics(Augmented Reality) with Source (camera), processor(Arduino), and output (DLP Projector)
Would appreciate any help in this regards as I am looking to buy the module and start the project ASAP.
Regards,
Vijyat
