DLP4710: DLP4711

Part Number: DLP4710
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-01226, DLPC3439, DLP4711, DLPC3479

Dear all,

We have developed a DLP4710 projector based on the TI Full HD 1080p Projection Display Reference Design using DLP Pico Technology.

Now I have some questions to make clear.

1, what are the difference between TIDA-00567 and TIDA-01226?

2, As far as I know, there is a new part called DLP4711 instead of DLP4710, may I use DLP4710 DMD on my dual DLPC3439 mainboard? Is there any difference between DLPC3439 and DLPC3479?

3, May I get some more materials about DLP4711, ?

  • Kelly,

Let me answer your questions as best as I can.

    1. These two TI designs are both for the same chipset (DLP4710), but the TIDA-01226 is newer and provides a higher current output. It is recommended that you use the TIDA-01226 for a design.

    2. The DLPC3439 is a display chipset, while the DLPC3479 is a light control chipset, which also includes display features/functionality.

    3. I don't have any materials for the 4711 here. Please accept my friend request on E2E and send me a private message so I can assist you further.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Philippe Dollo
