DLPC3478: Can crop 1D pattern in internal pattern mode?

We want to use internal pattern mode to simple our design because we only use 1D pattern to projected, but we don't known how to crop output in internal pattern mode.

For example, we use DLPC3478(1280x720), but only use some pixels (maybe 800x600), the other area are dark, but the horizontal or vertical line cross all full resolution, how we do that?

Could you please clear my query here : you are saying for example you need only 800x600 resolution but the horizontal or vertical line across all full resolution, Do you mean full resolution 720p ?

Can you please provide a drawing picture with the explanation of your request.
