  • Hi user,

Can you please share the version of GUI you are using, it would be nice if you can share the screen shot of the GUI.

    Navneet

  • Hi user,

Have you installed the driver cypress driver ?

At the time of GUI installation, one window ask for installing the cypress driver. Please check that you have correctly installed the cypress driver.

You can validate the driver by checking in your system's device manager

    Thanks,

    Navneet

  • I think I have installed the driver

  • Hi User,

Can you please let me know what all LED's are on, when SW1 is on.

Can you please do one experiment for us, start the EVM first, then open the GUI. Observe the LED behavior on the EVM. When you start the GUI, this sequence should happen :

    D11 off -> D9 on -> D8 on -> D11 blink (on-off) ->  D9 and D8 off, D11 on

    Thanks,

    Navneet

  • Hi Navneet

The following is the experimental phenomenon.

Firstly,When the GUI is opened, only the D9 flickers one time, and then the GUI show connected ,power off

Secondly, when SW1 opens, D8-D11 maintain off status and the GUI never change.and the EVM can project normally .

  • Hi Zong,

Looks like MSP430_REQ is sending to Cypress chip but it is not acknowledge back on MSP430_ACK.

we need to debug the cypress chip, can you please see if there is any activity going on this signal "USB_IIC0_SCL" Also please check what is the status of "SW_ONOFF"

Can you re-program the MSP430 code in your EVM. It is available here : http://www.ti.com/tool/DLP2010EVM-LC

I hope reprogramming the MSP430 code solve this issue. If doesn't, then we need to debug the cypress chip.

    Thanks,

    Navneet
