Hi,

I have bought the DLP5531Q1EVM. I asked in the E2E forum before whether you could give me tool which can convert picture to bin format, and you said you would send the tool to me after I bought the DLP5531Q1EVM. The address of the forum posts is " e2e.ti.com/.../3456404 ", pls check.

    Hi Chen,

    I am working with our internal team to find out how to give you access to the DLP Composer for Automotive software that will allow you to load custom splash image into the binary build file of the DLPC230. I will provide a status update before the end of the week.

    Hi Chen,

    I have granted you access to download DLP Composer for Automotive GUI and configuration files through the mySecureSoftware portal. You should have received two emails with additional instructions on downloading these software files.

    Once you have installed Composer for Automotive, you will be able to import the .xproj configuration file file into Composer, and select the splash image on the "Splash" page to include as part of the build file. The Composer's build file will output as a .bin, which you will then import into the Control Program as the flash program image to reprogram the DLPC230.

    Hi Akeem,

    I have downloaded the DLP Composer and the build file. Also, I find when I add my pic to the "splash page", and click the "build botton on the menu", it outputs the bin file, but the file include all data, I can't find the separate Picture bin file. 

    "   which you will then import into the Control Program as the flash program image to reprogram the DLPC230. ", The bin file you said reprograming the DLP means that using the bin file which including all data?

    Hi Chen,

    There is no separate BIN file for the splash image. There is only one BIN output file generated which includes all of the data that will be programmed onto the DLPC230 including the splash image content. The BIN file you generated which includes custom splash image in DLP Composer must now be loaded and flash programmed onto the DLPC230 using the DLP Control Program. After the BIN file successfully programs onto the DLPC230, you will go to the "Source" page in Control Program, and scroll down to select "Splash image" from the list. The splash image will then be displayed.
