some errors with my custom usecase based MCFW in DM8148 evm



Hi,

    when I run my usecase vcam_display in dvr_rdk4.0 on the TI DM8148 evm, It always failed , I alse use the camera/IF of the dm8148 with adding ISS iss_03_50_00_00, the following is some information about  my enviroment:

I have taken several days on it ,hower , I still can't solve it ,please give  me some advices about  it

  • Hi Shawn,

     

    DVR-RDK does not support capture from Camera, you will have to IPNC RDK to use camera link and iss software. Also as far as i know 8148 EVM does not support sensor based capture, You will require IPNC hardware to capture from sensor.

    so I think that ISS software also can be used in 8148, because of 8148 is pin-to-pin with dm8127~

    This is the list of features supported by the TI8148 chip, but this also should be supported by the EVM or software that you are using. EVM does not support any sensor based capture, nor does DVR-RDK. DVR-RDK supports VIP based capture, For sensor/ISS capture, you will have to use IPNC-RDK.
