I2C instance 4 support on IPNC

Hi All,

We need to control some i2c slave device from VPSS M3 firmware.

We are using IPNC RDK 3.5 and I2C3 bus (instance 4)

I could able to do read write on I2C0 and I2C2 bus, but it failed read write on I2C3.

I2C interrupt number for I2C3 is given below as

"CSL_INTC_EVENTID_I2CINT3 (00u)" " I2C3 interrupt is routed through the crossbar and not used */"

Did i need to change something to make I2C3 work.?

You'll need to pick an IRQ for I2C3 (any that's not already in use will do) and set the corresponding mux register to 5 (the mux value for I2C3). A convenient table of ducati's IRQs, their mux addresses, and possible mux values can be found in my Centaurus IRQs spreadsheet.

Since I have no idea what the VPSS M3 firmware looks ilke I can't say what changes are needed in any more detail. However, note that I2C2 also requires mapping through the crossbar, so if I2C2 is already working then you can presumably use that as example on how to make I2C3 working.
