Does the number on upper-right corner indicate chip speed?

Hi All,

I would like to confirm the speed of a DSP chip which I have just bought from an ebay-like site.

Does the number "4" (blurred in the picture) on its upper-right corner indicate it is a 400MHz device?

And does all DM6437 chips have such indicator? I have a EVM which has a 700MHz DM6437 chip on that, but I cannot find a similar numerical indicator "7" like the one above. So does TI always put such number on the upper-right corner?

Since the picture is blurred I cannot tell the speed correctly.

Dear Varada,

I could confirm the blurred single-digit number on the upper-right corner is 4.

The manual also listed "Device speed range", and "4=400MHz", just without mentioning where the number {4, 5, 6 ,7} will be printed on the top of the chip. I think it is most likely that the device is indeed 400MHz device.
