Hi
I have a new system with omapl137. i used ambe3000 and tlv320aic29 in my board . tlv320aic29 connected to ambe3000 with spi and ambe3000 connect to omapl137 with mcasp. I need a simple reset circuit. i attached the shematic of my reset circuit.
is the shematic ok? Please help me to do a simple reset circuit.
i set the boot mode to nand flash. i want that when turn on the board omapl137 boot from nand flash. when turn on the board omapl137 don't boot from nand flash but when reset the board it boot from nandflash correctly.
Please help me to fix this problem.
Hello Mahdi,
The reset circuit that you designed for OMAPL137 is not correct. The reset circuit does not reset the processor during power on.
Please refer attached OMAPL137 EVM schematics for the correct reset circuit.

Hi Senthil
Thanks for your reply
the reset circuit for omapl137evm is very complicated. Is there no other way? please help me to do a simple reset circuit for my board.
i attached the shematic format of my reset circuit. Can you edit this file and send to me?
Regards,
Mahdi
Hello Mahdi,
I'm not able to open your schematics. It says the file is broken.
Anyway i will sketch a simple reset block diagram and share you.

Hi Senthil
Thanks for your reply
I changed the reset circuit based on your reset block diagram and attached the new reset circuit shematic with boot and jtag and power.
Please check this shematic and tell me the result .
I used 14 pin TI jtag. I think that jtag reset ( TRST pin) must be connected to the (TRST pin) of omapl137.
Do I must connect the jtag reset (TRST pin) to (SN74LVC1G08DBVR) or (OMAPL137) or both?
Regards,
Mahdi
Hello Mahdi,
The reset logic seems to be good. In your case, TRST pin should be connected to OMAPL137 alone.
Please note, you have not followed the proper power sequence as recommended in OMAPL137 datasheet. Without proper power sequencing, you might see many issues in the device operation.
Refer the below application note.

Hi Senthil

i used tlv320aic29 in my board. tlv320aic29 connected to omapl137 with spi1 and mcasp1. i attached the shematic.
i connected the headphone to (INT_MIC+ and MIC_GROUND) and the speaker to (AF-OUT+ and AF-OUT-).
i used mcasp1 of omapl137 for loopback on tlv320aic29.
i send below command for configuration respectively, with spi1 of omapl137:

when i power on the board, I heard the horn from the speaker but when i reset the board i can heard the my voice from the speaker correctly. I fixed the reset circuit based on proposed block diagram but my problem is still not resolved. i think that something wrong in shematic or configuration.
Please help me to fix this problem.
