TI-API: TI-API: OAuth Error

Part Number: TI-API

As of 10/20 we are seeing the when trying to renew tokens we get the following OAuth error:

<HTML><HEAD>
<TITLE>Access Denied</TITLE>
</HEAD><BODY>
<H1>Access Denied</H1>

You don't have permission to access "http&#58;&#47;&#47;transact&#46;ti&#46;com&#47;v1&#47;oauth&#47;accesstoken" on this server.<P>

</BODY>
</HTML>
  • Hi Wilmer,

    You can only re-generate your password once every 24 hrs.   Can you send me a screenshot, where you are getting this error?

    Regards,

    Faye

  • This is when using the OAuth API to try and refresh the bearer token. Not a password reset. It is our understanding that tokens are only valid for 60 minutes. Once our token becomes 59 minutes old we try to refresh and encounter this error.

  • Hi Wilmer,

    Can you accept the friend request I sent to you?  I'd like to get a screen shot from your side.     I am looking on our side (a snap shot from 10/19 - 10/23) and we are not seeing any failures (all successful calls).  So, I'd like to see the screen shot AND the real data, once you accept the friend request.   Thanks!

    Regards,

    Faye

  • Hi Faye,

    This is exactly what we are seeing:

    <- "GET /v2/store/products/CRGH0603F1K07 HTTP/1.1\r\nAuthorization: Bearer BGlDR3cYQm4YL2A8ZnR18b0ID0mJ\r\nAccept-Encoding: gzip;q=1.0,deflate;q=0.6,identity;q=0.3\r\nAccept: */*\r\nUser-Agent: Ruby\r\nConnection: close\r\nHost: transact.ti.com\r\n\r\n"

    -> "<HTML><HEAD>\n<TITLE>Access Denied</TITLE>\n</HEAD><BODY>\n<H1>Access Denied</H1>\n \nYou don't have permission to access \"http&#58;&#47;&#47;transact&#46;ti&#46;com&#47;v2&#47;store&#47;products&#47;CRGH0603F1K07\" on this server.<P>\nReference&#32;&#35;18&#46;9ebf2617&#46;1698836497&#46;2a847cb1\n</BODY>\n</HTML>\n"

    It is interesting that this failed instance is returning HTML and not JSON.
