TUSB1044: Specific trace length guideline

Hi All,

From the datasheet of TUSB1044, the recommend trace length is listed in Table 24(assume 1dB/inch 5Gbps).

Since they will use it for USB3.1 10 Gbps application, so the customer is curious about the recommendation value.

Could you kindly provide a more specific trace length for reference?

Hi Evan,

This recommendation is for USB 3.1 Gen , 10Gbps or 5GHz (Nyquist frequency).

What if the trace length is beyond the recommendation? Will the compensation enough for it?

The customer might need another IC for supporting longer trace length, but it seems that TUSB1044 is the finest solution.

Do you have other recommendation?
