SN65MLVD200A: looking for right solution

Dear team,

Customer is looking for SE to differential and differential to SE solution, and we find SN65MLVD202A which may good for their design but the VCC is 3.3V.

The data rate is up to 2MHz and maximum peak voltage of input signal is only 1.9V.

Is SN65MLVD202A ok for customer's design?

If not, could you suggest the suitable part? thanks.

Hi Ben,

Is customer looking for a transceiver or 2 separate drivers and receivers? For a transceiver I recommend SN65LVDS179 instead. This is also 3.3V though, so customer will need to use level-shifter as needed (reference this application note for details: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/snla307/snla307.pdf).

Customer are looking for by-direction solution for SE<-->differential application.

If it cannot implement with single chip solution, could you share our solution or app note with me?
