Is it possible for the DS110DF111 to support 3.125Gbps with CDR?

If the DS110DF111 cannot support 3.125Gbps with CDR, Please tell us a recommended device.

    Hello JH,

    The DS110DF111 cannot support 3.125 Gbps.

    We would recommend using the DS125DF111. The DS125DF111 is pin compatible with the DS110DF111 and it supports a 3.125 Gbps data rate.

    Hello JH,

    The baud rate for the DS110DF111 is in the range of 8.5 to 11.3 Gbps (or is a divide by 2,4,or 8 of any value in this range).

    For a 3.125 Gbps input, we would require either a 6.25 Gbps, 12.5 Gbps, or a 25 Gbps input. Since none of these values fall in the range of 8.5 to 11.3 Gbps, this device can not support a 3.125 Gbps data rate.

    The baud rate for the DS125DF111 is in the range of 9.8 to 12.5 Gbps (or is a divide by 2,4,or 8 of any value in this range).

    A 3.125 Gbps input is possible for this device because a 12.5 Gbps input divide by 4 results in the required 3.125 Gbps data rate.
