Hi Team,

My customer has a need in their lab to have one FPD-Link III input to our system sent to two SOCs as MIPI. Is it possible to leverage the CMLOUT pins and connect them to another deserializer’s FPD-Link input to create a duplicate MIPI output.

    Hello Mitchell,

    This is not something we advise doing with 954, but we do have roadmap devices which we can discuss internally with such features. 

    However for this platform with 954, can they make use of the 2x2 functionality of the hub to generate a duplicate CSI-2 output? DS90UB954-Q1 can split its 4 lane CSI-2 port into 2x2 lanes, each with their own clock and then replicate the data on both to send to two different SoCs so long as the data BW is small enough to fit in 2 lanes. 

    Alternatively they could use a device such as DS90UB960-Q1 which has 2x independent 4 lane CSI-2 output ports.
